Hello. I’m your host Otto M. Asian.  Welcome to the BAT Watcher for June 10 2023.

We start with a 2008, 14,000 mile, Ferrari F430 Spider, with manual transmission.

In Rosso Scuderia, with Nero leather.

There are 1,434 F430 Spider, in the SC Sage database. With no less than 68 on the market at this time.

The average market spider price is $158,762, with 14,850 miles. This is for all transmissions.

Using  the SC Sage Market Value app, we can drill down to manual transmission only. The average spider price with manual transmission jumps to $226,598, with 16,645 miles.

This specific example was logged on SC Sage in March 2022 at Ferrari in Scottsdale. It has been on offer since that time. Priced from $549,990 in March 2022, down to $379,900 most recently in March 2023.

Its mileage is not relatively low. And it will not achieve that price here.

Looking at the Autocheck report, the vehicle has no reported accidents and 5 owners. That is quite a few, and does not add to value.

There are images of the car, in the SC Sage database, all the way back to 2021.

This car may not sell here, unless the current dealer who is selling it can go lower than the recent offering price, a price that no one would pay.

Here we have a  2021 Ferrari F8 Tributo coupe. In Grigio Titanio, with Cuoio leather. It carries 2,600 miles.

There are 904, F8 Tributo in the SC Sage database. Of these, 506 units are coupe.

On the market are 108 coupe. This is a very high percentage of the build. The market is very saturated with this model, which is a fact every potential buyer should keep in mind.

The average market price for this model in coupe is $410,874, with 3,294 miles.

This example was offered with 39 miles in February 2022. Looking at the Autocheck report, this was when the vehicle was first sold. It is a one owner example.

Original sticker price was $321,762. And it will sell for more than that here. However, it will not command more than the market average price, which is falling daily according to SC Sage data. There are simply too many of these on the market.

Next up is a 2016 Porsche 9 9, 1 dot 1 GT 3 R S model.

Featured in Ultraviolet, with Leather Interior in Black and GT Silver Alcantara. It has 2,700 miles.

A very large percentage of the North America build, 250 units, were delivered in Ultraviolet. It is one of the most common colors.

There are 1,503 of this model, only built for 2016, in the SC Sage database.

There are 61 units on the market today. With an average price of $210,394, with 11,916 miles.

This vehicle can be found in the SC Sage database, first located in Hawaii. There is a full image repository, beginning in March 2022. It was priced at $249,000, with 2,161 miles.

Looking at the Autocheck report, the vehicle has no reported accidents and 3 owners.

With so many units on offer, and with a very common color, despite its low miles, it will probably not hit the market average price in this auction.

We now have a 1,900 mile, 2018 Ferrari 4 88 Spider.

Outfitted in Bianco Avus, with Nero Leather.

There are 1,560, 4 88 Spider in the SC Sage database. With 136 units currently on the market. This is a high percentage of the North America build, but not unusual for this model.

The average price for this model is $307,024, with 10,103 miles.

This car first shows in SC Sage in August 2021, with 1,002 miles. Priced at $349,888, at that time. Less than the $355,069 original sticker price.

The Autocheck report shows 2 owners and no reported accidents.

Due to its low miles, this example should exceed the market average price. However, buyers should shop around, if they don’t want to pay up for this one, as there are many of this model on offer.

We now look at another Ferrari F 4 30 Spider. This time an automatic, with 18,000 miles.

Featured in Rosso Corsa, with Beige Tradizione leather.

As mentioned previously, there are 1,434 F 4 30 Spider, in the SC Sage database. With no less than 68 on the market at this time.

According to the SC Sage Market Value app, the average spider price, with automatic transmission, is $157,664, with 14,769 miles.

he current market inventory with automatic transmission is 59 units. So there are plenty to select from.

The Autocheck report shows 10 previous owners. Which appears quite strange, but it is possible.

This is a car to be driven. It should not be bought for anything close to the market average price for this model in automatic.

Now we have a 14,000 mile, 2011 Porsche Turbo S Coupe.

Covered in Carrara White, with Brown Natural Leather.

There are 1,268, 9 9, 7 dot 1 Turbo S coupe, in the SC Sage database. With around 30 on the market at this time.

According to the SC Sage Market Value app, the average price for this model, in coupe, is $119,083, with 29,507 miles.

We first saw this car in April 2021. Listed with 12,408 miles, by Tactical Fleet.

The Autocheck report shows 4 previous owners, and no reported accidents.

This is a typical Porsche Turbo S coupe spec. Nothing remarkable. But it could be valued at auction as high as the market average price due to its miles and condition.

We conclude with a 2016 McLaren, 6 50 S Spider. With 11,000 miles.

Wrapped in Gulf racing livery. Originally in Storm Grey. With Saddle Tan leather.

There are 677, 6 50 S Spider, in the SC Sage database. With 51 units on the market at this time.

According to the SC Sage Market Value app, the average spider price is $166,218, with 14,503 miles.

The Autocheck report shows 3 previous owners.

In the SC Sage database are photos of the vehicle, unwrapped, taken in October 2021.

It’s not clear why this is wrapped though. There are disclosed issues which occurred after the photos from October 2021. But one would assume proper repairs were made.

A large discount should be applied to market comps for this fact alone. Buy it cheap here, or don’t buy it at all.
